Profile Peter Dilg

Work Ethic

As a dedicated personal coach, trainer and mentor, I help people to reach their full potential and live balanced and fulfilling lives. I create a safe and supportive work environment in which personal goals, challenges and aspirations can be explored. Through careful listening, reflection and feedback, I help to make smart decisions that are consistent with personal values and ambitions.

I work in English and in German.

My Values
  • Authenticity: Seeing and accepting the self while striving for the best version of oneself.

  • Balance: A harmonious integration of professional and personal life.

  • Empathy: Mindful listening, understanding, challenging, and supporting.

  • Safety: Providing a secure space for growth and exploration.

  • Wisdom: Making wise decisions and sometimes taking new paths.

  • Leadership: Holistic life management for optimal fulfillment through creativity and achievement.

  • Orientation: Leading oneself and others with trust and clarity.

My Path to My Current Profession

For a holistic life coach, a multifaceted life is often more valuable than all formal methods and tools. My experience and understanding of different life paths are drawn from a broad spectrum of professional and personal experiences.

Originally trained as an electronics engineer and cook, I later studied physics, mathematics, computer science and management. For over twenty years I worked as a software engineer in performance-oriented American companies such as Hewlett Packard, Compaq Computers and Ernst & Young. During this time I also built an ocean-going catamaran, spent a year at sea and lived in New Zealand for four years.

Today I am a happy husband, father of two sons, entrepreneur, novelist and passionate observer of developments in artificial intelligence. As a moderate adventurer, I am always striving to mature and grow.
